There are three aspects that indicate that a person's back is at ease. The head moves freely on top of the spine, the spinal muscles are long, able to release unnecessary tension and the breath moves freely.

In this lesson we use a rolled towel which is place across the lower back. The extra support the towel provides helps to release long held tension. It also provides an opportunity to free up the individual vertebrae's of the spine, improving flexibility and comfort .

As the lesson unfolds, you come from lying to sitting to anchor the learning so you can benefit from it in daily life.
